  15. corruption-plagued Teamsters Union from 1981 to 1983; of
  16. emphysema; in Leeton, Mo. He resigned after being convicted with
  17. four others of conspiracy to bribe former Nevada Senator Howard
  18. Cannon. Williams later testified as a Government witness in
  19. trials examining underworld influence on his union, and was
  20. paroled from federal prison last September after serving 34
  21. months of a ten-year sentence.
